Matthias gave the boys summer hair cuts, World Cup style. Soccer players are known for their extreme hairstyles. Ty wanted a mo-hawk but Matthias doesn't allow mo-hawks apparently. I wanted to grow out Beeks hair again, but he says he just wants it short. Boooo. Side steps are pretty sweet though. We try to tell Bex that they make him run faster. He says he already runs fast.

kid spectacle
While the boys and I were out for a walk, we happened on a yard sale. I don't know how or when Ty and Bex snagged my camera, but here is what they had their eyes on. Surprise pictures on my camera are the best.
I did not save the pictures they took of my rear, which is unfortunately at their eye level. Sorry boys, and also, thank you for giving me extra motivation to increase my exercise regimen.

part 3: the tuck
The tuck was created after receiving a pair of handsome cowboy boots. This look decided to stay even when the boots were not being worn. Days later, the tuck became more aggressive, as you will notice below.

part 2: the effron
Beckham's stylist (moi) wanted to see how an aggressive comb-over would look. It turned out pretty great, but we found his hair would not stay put without a constant head throw to the side or side-ways finger comb. Maybe we need to make him watch how Z. Effron achieves this fantastic look.

part 1: the double mint
In a four part series, spread over 4 days, you will get an inside view of cutting-edge kid fashion.
This first look is called the Double Mint, Son wanting to be just like Father. This look cannot be forced, and can only be called the Double Mint when, after already being dressed, the Son takes a look at the Father's get-up and goes back to his room to redress in like attire.

I love the last picture of Hoosier Daddy whispering something funny in Ty's ear. Wish I knew what was said.

fashion
Did you know that tucking your pants into your socks is back in style? Ummm, was it ever in style? Well, either way, it's here, as in at our house. Ty has been rollin all tucked in for about 2 weeks now, the look is no longer reserved for cyclists. This is cutting edge fashion.
Didn't know you were so out of style, did you?
Send your fashion questions our way and we'll run them by the experts.
Did you know that wearing your pants "half-mast" and going "commando" at the same time is fashionable? I didn't either, but it is, at least according to Beckham. Hopefully we can tame his fashion sense before it really catches on.
