This poster has been a long time coming - my friend not only gave me the idea, but also helped me put it together. Thanks Janet! I love love love it! This is a happy (and late) Father's Day gift for our dads. I ordered an 8x10 for them, and a 12x18 for us. This was a super fun project. The pictures only took us like 15 minutes to take (we took about 100). We had to bribe Beckham with candy - Ty loved trying to make different faces, doing different variations of stretching his mouth with his fingers... none of them made the poster though. My favorite pictures are definitely cheated, done, and stifled. A typical Beckham expression is defiant. A typical Ty expression is busted. Click on it to see a larger picture.
If I were to choose one emotion for myself today, it would definately be happy. How about you?

Very fun! I love it. My best friend growing up had a similar poster in her kitchen with just stick people faces, and her mom made them point to which one they were feeling! I too may have to steal sometime!
Janet is a genius, and I agree that she's beautiful, smart, and witty. You did such a great job. I bet your dad and Lamar loved it. Your boys are so cute. I love unprepared and busted.
I'll send you one Chris!
I absolutely love this! I would love to know how you did it. Such a fun present to give to your dads. I love the faces, such cute kids.

HA HA! I love it Anj such a good idea :) I was just laughing so hard...and I'm at work!
Keri and Marci! I just followed what Janet did - taking the pictures (white sheet in background and white shirts) then I sent the pics and emotions to her (I don't have photoshop, which is what she used and she says it is pretty easy). She cropped them into squares, put it together and emailed it to me. Then I uploaded the poster onto Shutterfly and ordered from there. Simple. Here's a link to the one she did of her kids. so funny! http://ajshumway.blogspot.com/2008/03/brandys-birthday-present.html Email me if you have any questions!

Dad said it is really cute and creative. He can't wait to get his picture.
