frosty

There's nothing like making a snowman with my boys to remedy the Matthiasless blues. I can't even tell you how excited we are for him to take his last final for the semester (Wednesday)!! We used all our front yard snow as well as 3 neighbors' to make this snowman, I hope they didn't mind. Ty rolled the head and 1/2 of the tummy all by himself! Frosty is sporting BYU gloves, an authentic Mexican sombrero, a Utah scarf, a mini-carrot nose, mulch smile, coal eyes and buttons, and pine branch arms. He only stayed with us for about 3 days before he melted away. Spare me a moment of tooting my own horn, but I must say this is quite an impressive snowman for Indiana, don't you think?

I remember when I was little (in Utah) my brothers and I saw on the evening news a highlight about somebody's snowman. The next day we built an 8 foot snowman, oh we measured, and called up one of the local news stations to tell them about our snowman. He was GIANT after all. We had to use wooden planks to roll the middle section on top because it was too heavy to lift. The camera crew never came. The next morning after waking up we found our snowman discombobulated. I think it was the Thompson boys who were either jealous, or just getting us back after our roof-top snowball fight (a funny story I will have to tell someday).

That is a most excellent snowman and the boys look so happy! Way to go Anj! We can't wait to make a snowman with all the grandkids this winter!

By the way, I saw the Thompson boys the other day and we had a street fight. I kicked their butts! J/K

How awesome are you Anj! Love the snowman. The boys definately look proud of themselves. Yea, the Swenson kids and Thompson boys do have a bit of rivalry history.

I noticed your hulking snowman and wondered how you found all the snow to make him! I think ours was about a foot tall!

Very impressive for Indiana. Too bad he melted away so quickly. We loved the sombrero. It was a nice touch.

I can't believe you found that much snow! Do we live in the same city? I keep waiting for a good snow to play in :)

What a great snowman and a great moment to toot your horn. The best I can do is open the blinds for my kids to see that it is snowing and there is quite a bit. Way to go get 'em! I can only imagine the 8 foot snowman but I know how competitive the boys are and if I know they would make sure theirs was the BEST!
