indiana small-mouth aren't madison browns

Matthias has been out fishing quite a bit lately. My dad finished building his rod over the summer and now that he has it, he has been a fishing fool. I think he went 3 times last week. The fishing out here is just not comparable to fishing on the Madison for several reasons. Big browns are none to be found, the streams are piddly, oh, and the humidity is horrid. He wouldn't appreciate me posting a picture of this very small, small-mouth bass he caught, however, he is addicted now and will endure the undesirable circumstances just to keep catching (and releasing of course). I refuse to eat a bass.

Brad is a huge fish eater and he too, will not eat bass. Oh if only our guys could fish together right now! That would mean we would be together. I guess another time another place.

Nice Smallie Matt - bigger than most trout I have seen you catch! :) Actually, it is great to hear that you have the bug to fly fish, I enjoyed fishing with you this summer. Now we need Chris to fly a sea plane and take us all way up north to do some real fishing! I am waiting for some patterns to tie up for you. Fish on!

I know you guys have some rule as to what counts as a fish Matthias, but it say phooey ! A fish is a fish, right? I actually think that little guy is kinda cute, although I wouldn't eat him either.

P.S. If you let Beckham hold your fish it would look a lot bigger, just sayin!
